Come and learn how to spin wool into yarn. In this class you will learn about spinning wheels as well as how to set up and adjust your wheel. You will also learn how to spin various preparations of wool, how to card and comb wool, and what type of wool is used for different projects.


This is a beginning class. No previous experience is needed. Interested students as young as 10 are welcome.



Class will be held in Building 1 (Classroom Building)

Saturday May 11 from 2pm-5pm

Please arrive at Class Check-In (at the entrance to the Class Building) at least 10 minutes early to receive your Nametag and find your class area.



Please bring: 

a Spinning wheel, Lazy Kate, bobbins, and kniddy knoddy.


If you wish to rent a spinning wheel for this class, several are available. Please add the rental to your cart before checking out. 


The Materials Fee for this class is $10.00 and covers the fibers spun in class.
