It seems like we’re seeing brioche patterns pop up everywhere these days! Join in the fun and learn to knit a visually dramatic, unique hat. In this class, you will learn how to knit basic two-color brioche rib in addition to learning how to brioche with increases and decreases to create the more interesting design within the pattern of this hat. To successfully knit this hat, you must be very comfortable knitting, purling, be able to read your knitting, and be ready for an adventure!
This is an advanced class. Students need to be extremely comfortable knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, and know how to read their knitting.
Class will be held in Building 1 (Classroom Building)

Saturday May 11 from 9am-noon
Please arrive at Class Check-In (at the entrance to the Class Building) at least 10 minutes early to receive your Nametag and find your class area.
Please bring: 150 yards of 2 contrasting color DK-weight wool or wool-blend yarn. It is best to choose colors that are high contrast, neither color being black.
—Size 4 16” Circular Needle with good tips
—Liguria Hat pattern (found on Ravelry.com)
Before class: cast on appropriate number of stitches for the size hat you are knitting using the German Twisted Cast On in the lighter, main color, which will create the design on the hat.
There is no Materials Fee for this class.
A minimum of 3 students must register for this class to be held.
