Learn to make a double-wall basket and speak "basket twill." You'll go home with a strong, useful, made by you tote basket, measuring approximately 10" x 12."
Beginning on a wooden, circular base, we'll use a PVC pipe as a mold and weave the inside layer of our double-wall basket. This inner wall acts as a mold for the twill work. After inserting a second layer of stakes, we'll weave your choice of twill pattern, easy or harder. The basket is finished with a flat oval rim and a long, leather strap.
This class is open to beginners and those familar with the process.
