The Great Basin Fiber Arts Fair is a non-profit organization that promotes the fiber arts as historical and thriving art forms.
We want to share our love of fiber arts with you. Our friends from the fiber community will join us to demo and teach a variety of classes about knitting, spinning, crochet, felting, dyeing, weaving, rug making, and other fiber arts.
Many friends who have fiber animals vend at the Fair and spread the word about the wonders of their particular animals and the fiber they produce. Other vendors sell tools and other handy items for all types of fiber arts as well as many finished goods.
Join us for shopping, watching the demonstrations, entering the competitions, and attending the fiber-after-party on Friday night. There is so much to enjoy!
If you are inclined to stay nearby, there are two hotels in the immediate area, Hampton Inn Farmington and Hyatt Place Farmington who may give discounts for attending an event at the Legacy Center. There are RV sites for rent on site that have water and power and there is also a dump station and passcoded shower house. Please contact Sandy @ 801-451-4088 to reserve your RV space. (See map below for site locations) No tenting is permitted onsite, but there are campground facilities with bathrooms/showers nearby at Lagoon.
