Our How to Doodle with Yarn class is an introduction to the Doodle Series by Jamie Lomax of Pacific Knit Co. Class will include an introduction to colorwork and mixing and matching colors as well as loads of tips and inspiration for creating custom colorwork knits for you and others! We will cast on a cup cozy to knit in class.
Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Ages: 14+
Materials Fee (included in class cost): $45 - includes your choice of 3 mini skeins, doodle workbook, and cup cozy pattern.
Options: none
Please Bring: US size 5 24” circular needles (or choice of size 5 needles for knitting in the round)

How to Doodle with Yarn with Maggie Fangmann (Sat PM)
Instructor Bio
Maggie Fangmann, of Yarnaceous Fibers, is a dedicated fiber artist who teaches a variety of knitting and dyeing classes with a focus on creativity and skill-building. Her knitting instruction covers techniques such as colorwork, brioche, and garment construction, while her dyeing classes introduce students to playful and accessible methods like Kool-Aid dyeing. Through her workshops, she hopes to inspire a love of fiber arts and fosters a welcoming community of makers.

Please note: Full refunds are available until February 28, 2026. After February 28th, we will refund 50% of the class fee, and after March 31st, 2026, refunds are no longer available, unless you can find someone to take the class in your place.
Transfers to other classes will be approved on an individual basis.
